Welcome to Shear Artistry Hair & Body Centre!

 

At Shear Artistry we want you to have an exceptional service experience at every visit. That said, please read the following information about our salon policies. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

PRICING: 

At Shear Artistry we are proudly a Summit Salon. This means we work on a level system and all service providers have level pricing. Pricing is based on demand of time, expertise in our field, and experience. Feel free to look for a stylist that fits in your beauty budget.

ALL services are scheduled a la carte. You will need to schedule all portions of the appointment. We will review your reservation and follow up as soon as possible during the salon's regular business hours. *All chemical reservations require the color/perm/texture appointment as well as the cut and/or style appointment. If you fail to reserve both portions of the appointment, the pricing will NOT be accurate. ALL PRICING IS "STARTING AT" PRICES & WILL VARY BASED ON AMOUNT OF HAIR YOU HAVE AND COLOR RESULTS DESIRED. Please follow up with your service provider before services begin if pricing is in question.

With consideration of all our guests and our service providers, we have implemented an updated cancellation policy.

Late Arrivals

We make every effort to maintain time commitments and we request that you extend the same courtesy to us. We understand that special circumstances can arise which may cause you to run a few minutes behind. Depending on the service you’ve reserved for that day and the timing required; if you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment we may not be able to fulfill your entire service request. In some cases we may ask you to reschedule in order to provide prompt service to our next guest.

Missed Appointments (No Shows) & Cancellations

The staff at Shear Artistry Hair & Body Centre respects your time and we ask for the same courtesy. We offer appointment reminders 48 hours in advance as a convenience to all of our guests. These can be in the form of text message, email, or a phone call; just let us know your personal preference. However, we do feel the responsibility of your appointment is yours if we are unable to reach you. When a guest does not show up for their appointment, another guest loses an opportunity to be seen. If you are unable to make your appointment, we respectfully ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Please read and confirm these appointments as soon as possible.

1st time - We all get busy or have things pop up that make us forget what day and time it is. Although we don't like when this happens, we forgive you!

2nd time - This time, we will ask that you pay a 50% deposit for the service you are scheduling. It will go toward your scheduled appointment. If you happen to no-show this appointment, you stylist will be compensated with your 50% deposit.

3rd time - For this visit, you will need to pay 100% in advance for any future services reserved. Our service providers are missing out on reservations from guests that will happily show up. This is how we earn our income. 100% of the deposit will go to compensate the service provider and the salon. No refunds on service deposits will be given.

-Cancellations- are inevitable at times and we understand this completely. We like when things go as planned as well as you do. When circumstances do arise and you need to reschedule your appointment we do appreciate a 24 hour advance notice. We do ask that you try to plan ahead so that we have as few cancellations and rescheduled appointments as possible. This allows our day to flow as normal. We appreciate your attentiveness in this matter.
